The White Giraffe by Lauren St John P.T

The white giraffe is an adventure story.The main character is called Martine she is eleven ,when she goes to live on a game reserve in Africa,because unfortunately her house burnt down in the middle of the night with her family in there but she woke up when the smoke was entering her room and she climbed out her room and down the ivy clawing up the house and then she ran to her next door neighbours and called 999 but it was to late. Her closest relitive was her relitive in Africa.She read a myth about the white griaffe and she thought she was him on a stormy night . Nobody beileves Martine that she saw the white giraffe but she has to keep her secret or the pochers will be after the creature.In this story there is a lady called Grace and she is good friends with Martine and she belives in the white giraffe and she said "there is a gift you can be a blessin with this gift  or a cures and you have to be careful ".
