The Escape by Robert Muchamore is an action-packed thriller about a 12 year old French orphan called Marc from the country-side near Beavais who was growing up in an orphanage in the World War II and needs to escape. When a German dive-bomber lands right in front of the orphanage it is the perfect distraction that Marc was hoping for to steal from Director Tomas's cottage. Marc sees some horrifying sights on the way to Paris. Marc eventually breaks into an abandoned house on the out-skirts of town and starts to make himself comfortable when,BOOM! The Gestapo (German agent service) broke into the house and caught Marc and interrogated him about where an English agent called Henderson is. Henderson eventually comes to the abandoned house looking for 2 British children who's father has died,the children are called Paul and Rosie who are living with a priest,another child and the priest's sister on the outskirts of Tours and Henderson and Marc need to get to them before the Gestapo do and eventually get out of the horrendous atmosphere and get on a boat back to Britain.

Maximum Ride is an amazing book and I know there are many more books to read in that series that I have not yet read. The book is about teenagers who are mutants who have been created in a lab by there mother, Dr. Martinez. They have wings and they can fly. They are discovering that they have mutant powers and they are trying to use them in a good way to protect earth from global warming. There names are Iggy, Angel,Gazzy, Fang, Nudge and Max. They have a dog called Total who can speak. They go to Antarctica and go on a special mission but not everything goes to plan.
